DESCRIPTION:The Seagate is putting on something extra-special for the Appledore Music Festival. An area at the front of the hotel\, opposite Appledore Quay\, will become a busker’s heaven. Between 1:30pm and 5:30pm every day from Thursday 28 May and Sunday 31 May there will be a series of local musicians busking for their dinner. Please give generously! \nThe full schedule is listed below. The actual names of the performers are still  being finalised – we don’t expect that famous busking trio TBD to play all the slots. \nA fabulous mix of musicians and musical styles. DESCRIPTION:dogleg are Tracy on vocals\, guitar and fiddle\, and Steve on vocals and guitar. They have been thrilling audiences in Devon and beyond for many years. For the Appledore Music Festival they are playing at Appledore’s funkiest little café\, the  Coffee Cabin right on the quay. \nThe music will be accompanied by pudding and cake freshly prepared by the fine folk at the Coffee Cabin.  \nThis is a charity event and all money raised will be donated to The Royal Devon Hospitals Charity Fern Centre\, which is the cancer centre based at North Devon District Hospital .  \n \nThis event has been booked by The Coffee Cabin who have kindly agreed to include it in the Appledore Music Festival programme.

DESCRIPTION:Mark Welbourn and Friends open the 2026 Appledore Music Festival in grand style. Mark Welbourn has a powerful bluesy voice that channels Robert Plant with a hint of Rod Stewart. He’s well known through his band The Relayz and appearances with the legendary village Mishmash band. He will be joined by a duo from The Relayz and watch this space for guest appearances! \nAlso on the bill are The Ruffé~Marsh Experience\, with famed local troubadour Paul Marsh and Steve Ruffé\, the wild man of folk. Plus Lara Conley’s beautiful dreamy folk. Amanita Grove bring their exciting fusion of Latin Folk Neo-Soul. Natalie Withey kicks off the night\, a songstress breaking back into the local music scene with popular covers and sultry tones. \nTickets are a phenomenally low £5 including booking fee.
