DESCRIPTION:Gypfunk will bring a rare touch of class and sophistication to the Appledore Music Festival when they perform at the Champ on June 1. Gypfunk are a four piece who play Parisian café culture tunes\, with a soupçon of influence from further east. Think Jacques Brel tinged with klezmer. \nFeast your ears for an evening of the finest French-influenced chansons. With Richard Malfait on guitar\, Dayle “Moustache” Helsby on double bass\, Jim Blofeld on drums and Mario on accordion. Meeting Street will become Montmartre and St Mary’s Church will transform into the Sacré-Cœur.
