DESCRIPTION:Jim Crawford is a legendary blues and folk guitarist who has played and recorded extensively with world-famous musicians during his long career. \nJim has given numerous guitar masterclasses. For the Appledore Music Festival\, Jim will be giving an introductory masterclass on Sunday 26 May at the Champ pub. Jim is running another masterclass on Saturday 18 May. \nDuring the masterclass\, Jim will be showcasing some of the techniques that have made him a world-class blues guitarist. These include open tuning\, finger styles and slide.  There is no need to bring your own guitar though you are welcome to do so. \nThis event is ticketed and tickets must be purchased in advance. DESCRIPTION:Jim Crawford is a legendary blues and folk guitarist who has played and recorded extensively with world-famous musicians during his long career. \nJim has given numerous guitar masterclasses. For the Appledore Music Festival\, Jim will be giving an introductory masterclass on Saturday 18 May at the Champ pub. Jim is running another masterclass on Sunday 26 May. \nDuring the masterclass\, Jim will be showcasing some of the techniques that have made him a world-class blues guitarist. These include open tuning\, finger styles and slide. There is no need to bring your own guitar though you are welcome to do so. \nThis event is ticketed and tickets must be purchased in advance. There is a limit of 10 people per class. \nThe ticket price is £10 per person including all fees. To reserve your place\, buy your tickets now.

DESCRIPTION:Appearing in Appledore for the first time in living memory are A Smile\, 2 Bangs and a Legend. This Appledore Music Festival gig is special because the band will be coming all the way from Devizes. Although the festival is mostly local talent\, Barry\, who books the Champ’s music\, reckons this lot are worth it. They are a hard-rocking four piece. Come along and if you can identify which one is Smile\, which ones bang and who’s the legend\, you may get a prize. \n \nThis event has been booked by The Champ pub who have kindly agreed to include it in the Appledore Music Festival programme.
