DESCRIPTION:The Champ hosts a “Sunday Nice” session on the afternoon of the fourth Sunday every month. For the Appledore Music Festival\, there will be a special performance by Domingo Caramelo. This jazzy trio (sometimes quartet) play jazz standards that go with Sunday afternoons like strong winds go with North Devon. Domingo Caramelo consists of Dayle on bass\, Rob Norris on keys and Jim Blofeld on drums. Their repertoire includes jazz standards such as Misty\, Autumn Leaves and Over the Rainbow \nThese guys are superb musicians. For the Appledore Music Festival\, Jim will be giving an introductory masterclass on Sunday 26 May at the Champ pub. Jim is running another masterclass on Saturday 18 May. \nDuring the masterclass\, Jim will be showcasing some of the techniques that have made him a world-class blues guitarist. These include open tuning\, finger styles and slide.  There is no need to bring your own guitar though you are welcome to do so. \nThis event is ticketed and tickets must be purchased in advance. There is a limit of 10 people per class. \nThe ticket price is £10 per person including all fees. To reserve your place\, buy your tickets now.

DESCRIPTION:Rocksteady Music School provides fun and inclusive in-school rock and pop band lessons for Years 1 to 6. The Rock Steady Youth Group consists of pupils from Appledore School. Their Rocksteady teacher is Stuart Snelling.
