SUMMARY:Russell Bave - Songwriting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Russell Bave is a popular local folk guitarist who plays frequently in and around Appledore\, including running the weekly folk session at the Champ. \nRussell has given numerous songwriting workshops at all levels. For the Appledore Music Festival\, Russell will be giving an introductory workshop on Friday 24 May in St Mary’s Church Hall.  \nThe songwriting workshop is an introduction to writing original songs. It will cover the structure and form of song verse and chorus. It will look at rhyming patterns and styles and is designed to ease you into writing original songs in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere. And it will answer the age-old question – which comes first\, words or music? (Spoiler alert: It depends). \nThis event is ticketed and tickets must be purchased in advance. There is a limit of 15 people per class. If the class is full\, and you would like to be added to the waiting list\, please send us a request via the Contact Us form.  \nThe ticket price is £5 per person including all fees.
