Mark Welbourn and Friends open the 2026 Appledore Music Festival in grand style. Mark Welbourn has a powerful bluesy voice that channels Robert Plant with a hint of Rod Stewart. He’s well known through his band The Relayz and appearances with the legendary village Mishmash band. He will be joined by a duo from The Relayz and watch this space for guest appearances!

Also on the bill are The Ruffé~Marsh Experience, with famed local troubadour Paul Marsh and Steve Ruffé, the wild man of folk. Plus Lara Conley’s beautiful dreamy folk. Amanita Grove bring their exciting fusion of Latin Folk Neo-Soul. Natalie Withey kicks off the night, a songstress breaking back into the local music scene with popular covers and sultry tones.
